2009 Event Details
The 2009 Cycle To The Sun will take place on Sunday, August 23. There will be three different race entries: Full, Half, and Full-Relay.

Entry Deadline
Entries must be received by Friday, August 21. Entries received after August 7 will incur a $20 late fee. Entries are only taken on-line - no mail or walk in entries this year.
Packet Pickup
Race packets will be available at the Maui Cyclery starting on Monday, August 17 until Saturday, August 21 at noon.. All riders must sign a waiver in order to receive their packets.
Entry Limit
There will be a limit of 200 Racers for the "Whole" distance. Entries for the "Half" distance race will not be capped.
Kama'aina Entries
Kama'aina entries must be accompanied by proof of Hawai'i State residency or by a Hawai'i State Drivers License.

The following Categories will be scored individually:
18 & Under
19-29

40-49
50-59
60+
Cash prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 in the "Open" Division of both mens & womens.
Merchandise prizes will be awarded to the Top 10 in all age group divisions.

Start time will be 0630 (6:30AM) on Sunday August 23 at the bottom of Baldwin Avenue in Paia. Race Map

Tax Deductions
Entry fees are tax-deductible, as The Lance Armstrong Foundation is this year's beneficiary of Cycle To The Sun.
